About Us
Why Us?
Myrai Medical Centre, like you believes there needs to be a change in the way we seek, receive and deliver healthcare. We believe in patient centredness, we believe in inclusion and we believe in shared decision making. We want every person to have access and opportunities to realise their BEST SELF.
The world we live in has changed. We are living longer, with more complex needs over time. We know more and want to know more about how to be healthy and how to stay healthy. We want to be heard and included in decisions about our health and our wellbeing. BUT we are also time poor, with increasing demands on our time and we are overwhelmed with information and misinformation. We at Myrai want to be the trusted source that you turn to for your health needs. We want to get to know you and your circumstances and take the worry out the most important part of any person’s life – their health. We want to create a practice with you, and for you. We will be committed to finding solutions if we do not have it and we are committed to working with you and the community to build a better experience of the way healthcare should be.

DR SHIVANI MOODLEY
PRINCIPAL GENERAL PRACTITIONER
B.MedSci ( Syd), MBBS ( Syd), FRACGP, DCH
I am an Australian Trained Doctor, with over 18 years of General Practice experience. Graduating from the University of Sydney, I have trained and worked in Western Sydney. Western Sydney is my home, it is my community and I am invested in providing quality, safe, accountable practices. I am experienced in the breadth of all that General Practice offers, with a special interest in Preventative Medicine and Complex Care and Chronic Disease management. My skill is in my ability to communicate well with my patients, understand their needs and translate that to outcomes. I want to build a practice – where my patients can feel confident and cared for. This is not always an easy undertaking. There are “ issues” with our health system and it needs fixing and I want to be part of the solution. This requires participation, this requires trust and like every relationship it requires communication. I want my patients to go on this “ journey” with me, to build the practice that services their needs and the community, as we build a Patient Centred Medical Home.
